Visit Normandy After breakfast at the hotel. Today you have the option of either excursion Reims and Champagne Region OR Excursion to Beaches of Normandy. Reims and Champagne Region : The sacred town of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region and known throughout the world for its sparkling wine, Champagne. Reims is also the city of coronations where most of the French kings were crowned. Our morning orientation tour of Reims includes a guided visit to the gothic cathedral. We then vist the Mumm Cellars, with a tasting of the famous Cordon Rouge Champagne wine. There is free time for lunch (at your own expense) in the afternoon and you will be able to enjoy the picturesque landscape of vines between Reims and Epernay. At Epernay we will visit either the prestigious wine cellars of Moet & Chandon or the Mercier Champagne Cellars. Beaches of Normandy: Your day will start with a visit to the Memorial Peace Museum. You will then have lunch with drinks included. In the afternoon we head for the Pointe du Hoc and Omaha Beach where a visit the to American Cemetery is included (visit of around one hour). You will then continue to Arromanches OR the landing beach of Juno. Overnight in Paris.
